ANNUAL PICNIC
On July 29, 2023, our SUAFERs met for the annual picnic at San Dieguito Park, the same venue we used last year. It was another event of fun, with great food, wonderful company, and challenging games!
As always, our Socials Committee, headed by Priscilla Madrid, provided us with another picnic to remember. The preparations were excellent and the varied food brought by members was all delicious! The picnic also doubled as a celebration for those having birthdays in July and August!
After lunch, we had a brief meeting chaired by our dynamic President, Laarni Gularek. After the meeting was the fundraising raffle, with prizes donated by Fely, Erna and Priscilla Madrid. The Raffle earned us $100. The competitive and challenging games then followed and were enjoyed by all.
