DONATION OF WARM CLOTHING TO VETERANS

Established in 1981, the Veterans Village of San Diego (VVSD) is dedicated to serving veterans who are in need. Each year VVSD helps thousands of the most vulnerable veterans through programs that offer transitional and permanent housing, mental health counseling, substance use treatment, employment, and training services.

During winter,  VVSD distributes warm clothing to veterans with no place to go. In January 2016, SUAFSD had a Warm Clothing drive that collected warm jackets, blankets, sweaters, etc., from members and friends and donated them to VVSD.
