OCEANSIDE BEACH CLEAN UP
To participate and contribute to the well-being of our communities is one of the goals of SUAFSD. For that reason, SUAFers, all fifteen of them, were happy to volunteer in the clean-up of Oceanside Beach.
The group collected trash and filled out cards detailing the types of trash and weighed them. They picked up about 10 pounds of beach litter (cigarette butts, pieces of plastics and other debris). The activity was organized by Laarni Gularek.
After the clean-up, the group proceeded to the Yoakem’s residence to partake on the delicious lunch prepared by Frances, and later in the afternoon, went to Alma Pinili Lavergne’s residence for an ice cream treat.
