BOWLFEST 2022
A group of SUAFers and their family went to try and revisit their bowling skills on October 21, 2022, at the San Marcos’ Bowlero. Organized by our president, Laarni Gularek, several of our members could participate and have fun! (By the way, this was also a celebration for our one and only October birthday celebrant, Efren Madrid).
Present were Laarni and Frank Gularek; Priscilla and Efren Madrid and their two sons, Frank and Julius; Gaya and Joel Simpkins; Miriam Tan-Cole; Fely Narvaez; Louella Dolar and son Joey; and Steve Yoakem.
The high scorers were Frank M. and Julius, Steve and Frank G. (and Efren, too?), and the newly minted one, Prescy Garrido, had several strikes, sometimes in a row, and a few spares! [Frank M. and Julius, watch out!]. After bowling for two hours, some went to O’s American Kitchen in San Marcos for dinner.
What a great day! (though our bones and joint aches were there the following days). We should do this again! Calling Lloyd, Chona, Gino, Clavel apil daw mo sa sunod, ha?
